# Drama one minute speech

In Drama class we had to make a speech of our passions and what we like to do.  I was very nervous because we had to remember the notes. But if I was passionate about it, I wouldn’t be nervous. I would talk and talk the whole time. There was a time limit which was one minute. I was too nervous that I forgot my notes and had to end  the speech. I think I hurried a little when I forgot my notes. I also had to speak louder and clearly, and not be nervous. Next time, I want to be more organized and prepared for my second speech which is about a important person.

## Meet Our Team!

In this experiment I am working with Hanna and Satoshi. Satoshi is the smart one and Hanna is the funny one. They both are really cool and chill, and people who you could work with easier and faster.

### Choosing Our Experiment

This experiment was an assignment which was given by Mr.Fedly. We had to make our own so my group and I brainstormed what experiment to do. Our first one was the rubber band experiment which we pull it and measure the distance. But another group took our idea so we made a new one. It was an experiment using Water balloons. In this experiment, we drop them from different heights so there is Gravity force and we measure the radius of the puddle.

### Making Our Prediction & Research Question

Ok, so this is our Research Question: “If you drop a balloon with water in from different heights would it have a larger or smaller splash?.” And our prediction/hypothesis was “The Radius is going to get bigger as we go higher because there is more speed and the gravity force will get larger.”

### Variables & Equipment

• The one you are going to change: The height of the place we are going to drop the balloon.
• The one you are going to control: The Amount of water because we need to make each balloon weight about the same(90~100 g).
• The on you are going to Measure: The Radius of the puddle because it changes.

The variables and equipment for this experiment is really simple and easy to get.

## Risks

I don’t think there are risks using water balloons, but if you are worried of getting wet, be careful using the balloon.

# Tutorial Investigate Reflection

In this unit, we are learning how to make our own tutorials. I am making a tutorial on how to draw graffiti characters. Before we make one, we have to learn the steps to make a good tutorial. What I learned from this unit was that if  you wanted to make a good tutorial, you need to know the different steps and instructions. You also need to research whats good and whats not.

First, we had to research different tutorials on youtube. We had to write what we learned, what was good, and what had to improve on a document called Tutorial research . My favorite tutorial during research is posted on the other blog post which was Skyfall on piano and Graffiti character. I commented on Sayaka’s blog and Ayaka’s blog to see they’re favorite tutorial. What I learned from Sayaka’s favorite tutorial is that I should speak clearly and have good quality video so that the audience know what I’m talking about. What I learned from Ayaka’s favorite tutorial was that I should be organized and show the different materials you need in order to do the tutorial.                           To make a great tutorial, I need to have good quality for my video, simple and easy instructions so people can understand easier and faster, also be ready for the tutorial and have confidents.

Then, we had to make a quick tutorial of something very easy we can do on the computer to get some ideas for our own tutorial. Heres the Google presentation tutorial:

Compare and Contrast:

There is a lot of differences in my tutorial and my favorite ones. First of all, my tutorial style is google presentation and my favorite tutorial is on youtube video. So the way you see it is different because in a video, you can hear the person but in a presentation you can only read the directions and look at pictures. If I was searching for a tutorial, I would go to youtube or maybe look at someones presentation because I am the type of person who likes to watch and learn(visual learner). The similar part was that it was understandable and easy to learn. Maybe my tutorial was easier because mine was short but my favorite tutorial had good quality too. Now, I need to make sure I have good directions and demonstrations so that the audience can find the right information so that they can learn things easier and faster.

I chose this post(work) because I think I wrote the post really well and explained the information very good. I also enjoyed working with my group and doing the experiment because it was easy, fast and fun. I also think I did a good job on making the graph on world because it explains the results. It also has a diagram of the plant/animal cell so you can understand more about it.
