About stereotype

What does stereotype mean?

A stereotype is when you group a type of race or individuals together and make a judgement about them without knowing them well enough to make a comment about them for example, men, women, skin colors and culture.

When are stereotypes useful?

I don’t think stereotypes are useful because there are generally negative, for example “all asians can do math” isn’t really a positive thing because anyone can do math and thats not the only thing asians can do. It makes it sound like it’s the only thing they can do.

Can you judge a book by it’s cover?

No. Not at all, though it really depends sometimes you can but sometimes you can’t, but most of the time you can’t judge a book by just looking at the cover.
