GCD Reflections on Wellness

  1. Being a part of the school sports teams during the school year has helped me to improve on balancing my time I spend on friends and school work. Since the training sessions take place 3 times a week, which leads me to be home at around 7:30. Not that 7:30 is late, because if I spent that 2 and half hours after school hanging out with friends, I would not be as tired as I would be if I practiced the sports for that amount of time. This means that I have less time to spend with my friends, and therefore would increase my need to spend time with friends during the week. I think that this is one of my most challenging parts of being on the sports teams. On top of this, my ideal time to go to sleep is around 10:30~11:00, giving me about an hour and a half to two hours to complete my homework and get ready to go to bed. I think that this year has been a good opportunity to learn my mistakes and prepare myself for next year.
