Drama -Stereotype Blog Post

What does stereotype means?

-Stereotype is a generalisation that people make about the characteristic or a general idea of someone, based on an image of their culture, gender, looks, etc.

When are stereotype useful?

-When you are doing a sudden performances, you may want to be quick with everything. So by using a stereotype, you can make a quick judgement on how to match up the characteristic.

Can you judge a book by it’s cover?

-In my opinion no. Why I think like this is because only by looking into the cover won’t tell anything about the actual inside of it’s book. So only by looking into the cover, you can’t judge about anything. Maybe there might be a book that has a cover with nothing on it, but the inside of it’s book (the story) may be colourful and wonderful.
