Thank you Sandra Cisneros for giving us the book House on Mango Street. I learned a lot from the various vignettes in “House on Mango Street”. It has taught me many lessons. I like what you did on the final vignette of the book where you repeated the first part of the first vignette. My favorite vignette is “No speak English” because I felt it captured the image of being in a bad pattern or a trap perfectly. My least favorite vignette is “Red clowns” because I feel it is too sexual (although I know the point of it) I still can’t say that it was appropriate. I love the way you use exotic sentence structures and I feel that I want to read more books that are made by you. I wish to see you improve on this book.
