# My Class

Hi guys!. Today I am going to introduce my class and other information about my school!

First my class mates. We have a countdown list to take attendance. From 1-17 I will introduce the students including me. We are all in grade 6.

1 is Owen. Owen has little curly red hair and he likes to play soccer.

2 is Julynn. She  has long black fair hair and she likes to run.

3 is Benjamin. He has blond black hair average hair length and he likes to play soccer like Owen.

4 is Lente. She has blond and black hair like Benjamin and she likes to listen to music.

5 is Haruna. She has long fair black hair and she likes to watch youtube.

6 is Grace. She has

7 is George. He has curly black hair. He likes to internet surf.

8 is ME!!! I have blackish brownish pretty long hair. I like to snowboard and play around with card magic.

9 is Reina. She has glasses and has short hair for a girl and it is black. She likes to draw and paint art.

10 is Wonkyung. She has dark dark brown hair and she likes to read comics.

11 is Tsuyoshi. He has a little short black hair. He likes to play sports.

12 is Kenryo. He was short hair and his face (no offense) is like a square.  He likes to play pranks.

13 is Athul. He has medium hair and he wears glasses. He likes to play basketball.

14 is Yujin. She has fair long hair and she ties it. Her hair is black. She likes to sing.

15 is Charlie. He has short blond hair and blue eyes. He likes to play basketball.

16 is Everest. He has normal black hair and he likes to read books.

17 is Shaolun. He has very short black hair. He likes to play basketball.

Our math teacher is called Mr. Fedley. He is very funny and teaches well. I think he is a very awesome teacher and one of the best (actually legit the best) teacher in my life.

We learned about fractions and lots of calculating topics. We learned about areas too. We solved text book work and it was very fun doing it!

We completed many activities such as going around the school and making a tally and graph.

The most thing I enjoyed was Mr. Fedley making jokes!! And Mr. Fedley talking!. Mr. Fedley was very funny and I think he made me like math more than ever!

The most challenging thing was assessments and tests. I am bad at English so I was struggling on criteria C and D. Criteria C and D is explaining so I was bad about the criteria.

# Probability

In math, we have been starting to work on our new unit, probability. There are 5 main words in probability. And I will briefly explain what they are.

First is impossible. It means that an event will occur never, or in other numbers 0%. This means that an event will NEVER occur or happen. For example, it is impossible for a person live more than 250 years. This event will NEVER occur because obviously (common sense) you cannot live more than 250 years.

Then there is unlikely. It means the percentages are about 17.5% to 37.5%. For example, it is very unlikely to roll a 3 in a 6 sided dice. It is 16.6666….% for a dice to land on one of the 6 sides.

There is a word called even chance. This means that there is an even chance of doing an event. So it means that there is 50% chance of occurring. That is the same as 1/2 chance. For example, in one years time, it is about an even chance of the weather to fall something. (Rain, snow, hail, sleet etc.)

After, there is a word called likely chance. This means you have more than 50% of occurring an event but there is less than 100% chance of occurring. So that means that there is a high percentage of the event to occur, but it is ALWAYS going to occur. For example, in the weather cast, it can say that it is very likely to be a great sunny day tomorrow.

Lastly, there is a word called certain. Certain means that an event is no matter what, is going to occur and is 100% going to occur. For example, it is certain that a human will die someday. This is common sense and you know humans die.

These kind of simple easy words are very useful words to use in real life too. These words can mean common sense and are very useful words to describe an percentage or possibility!

# Comparing Decimals

Today in math class, Tsuyoshi and I found three objects and measured the height and width to find out the area of the object. We searched for different objects and we found three cool objects.

Our first object we measured fire extuinguisher case. The height was 1301mm and the width was 693 mm which becomes 901593 mm squared area. Our second object was a chest and it was 433.5 mm by 803 mm. It was 348100.5 mm and it was quite big. The last object was 889 mm and the width was 1651 which made the area 1467739mm.

# Mini Fraction Tutorial!! May be hard but… Who cares

Hello humans and gentlemen’s… Just kidding mens are part of human’s. SO…. What is a fraction? Guys? Do you know? Answer?

If you know no point explaining but if you don’t, I will briefly explain what a fraction is. Look at a image below. Pretend I cut a square cheese in half. It would become a half. So it is a proper fraction and it’s one half. The top number is called the numerator and the bottom number is called the denominator.

Next I shall teach you another proper fraction. Let’s say that I took a piece of bar chocolate. There was 16 squares and I ate 6 and left the rest for my brothers. Then that means I at 6/16 which is 3/8 chocolate and left 10/16 which is 5/8 pieces.

Next this is a wrong one. Let’s say that I had 3 chocolate bars that has 16 squares and 2 chocolate bars that has 10 squares. Then this makes it  a improper fraction. Since the size is different  it is improper.

To not make it a improper fraction, you need to make the size same no matter how it tastes or smells or looks different.

So we learned what is a proper, improper fraction and what is basically a fraction.
