Spanish Phase 2 reflection

This year as our last grade for middle school we have just finished phase 2 for the MYP Spanish and will be moving on to phase 3 for high school. Learning completely new things but also having to know and remember previous knowledge. This year I am most proud of all the new vocab that I learned in this phase. Also the transitions that helped my sentence structures. Now I feel that I am starting to consider my self as a Spanish speaker because I can have a conversation in Spanish, introducing myself and more. I think I will practice more on my oral in Spanish this year if I could do it again. Because I still feel that I am uncomfortable when speaking, but I do feel more confident than I did last year. Three concrete actions I will take to prepare myself for phase 3 next year, I will first always look over the vacab and grammer list at the ones that I feel less confident about. I will look over my packet with all the vocab and things that we learned in phase 2 to try and figure out all of them. Lastly I will use the resources on the Ms. Hill’s amazing blog to do activities or learn ahead of phase 3 to prepare myself.
