Welcome to the Bellydancing Club blog!

As Sports Day is on May 4 and there will no ESA sessions ,
today was the last practice day for the performance.

The below is our little performance time for Family Fair, Sunday May 6.

• Show Time: 11:50-12:00

• Show Place: Main Stage in Playground

• What to bring: a pair of black legging (to wear under hip scarf; short one is preferable)

and a zip-up jacket to cover the costume before the show

We will meet altogether before the performance as follows:

• Meeting Time: 11:00am

• Meeting Place: ES Office

Friday February 16

Welcome to the Bellydancing Club blog.

Today was the last meeting for the Session 2.

Please make sure to sign in for Session 3.

I need all of our 9 members to be in our Family Fair performance.

Today we have a new guest visiting in our club, Kate’s grandma.

Thank you for visiting us. We hope you enjoyed.

During Spring Break, please practice dancing, dancing, and dancing.

Welcome to the Bellydancing Club blog!

I have 3 news to update:

1) The costume for the new members have arrived

2) I signed up our group for the Food Fair (Family Fair) entertainment

Date: Sunday May 6

Time block: 10am-12pm (show time most likely around 11am)

*Please do not forget to sign up for the Session 3 that starts from March 10 to 21.

3) The former member, Emily, wrote hi to us

May 20 2011 post

• Two more classes left in Session 2: March 9 & March 16
• Three more classes in Session 3 before the Family Fair (May 6) : April 13, 20, 27 
• No class on May 4 as it is Sports Day; if it’s rain, no session on May 11

During Spring Beak, I will make some accessories like the image below:

Friday February 24

Welcome to the Bellydancing Club Bolg.

Flu is on school and many of them are  sick and absent

this week.

Thank you for turning the permission slip and the costume money.

I ordered new sets of costume and thy are on the way.

We finished the first sequence of choreography.

We have two thirds more to go.

We like to come up with the nice ending pause something like

the video below. This performance is done by children bellydancing

group in Malaysia.

Welcome to the Bellydancing Club blog.

So, our performance day is during Food Fair, which is on Sunday May 6.

Exciting!!

Please mark the calender not to miss the event.

Soon I will order the costume for new members:

Next session is Friday February 17.

I will hand you a letter to the parent about the costume and the permission of the performance,

so please make sure to have your parent sign and return the slip to me.

Welcome to the Bellydancing Club blog!

We have started to practice for our next performance,

Food Fair, Sunday May 6.

Please mark the calender not to miss the event.

We will perform with the song by Shakira “Eyes Like Yours”.

The video below, she sings it in Spanish and it is called “Ojos Así”.

This song is just perfect for Food Fair performance because everybody knows it.

We also watched the performance by some child dancing along this song.

Her improvising dance is very original and eye-catching!

Welcome to the Bellydancing Club and Happy 2012!

Elementary School Activity Session 2 has just started last week.

Welcome back to those enthusiastic dancers who signed in

again for this session, also welcome to the new members!

This Session we have 9 members.

The goal of this session is to perform in Food Fair on Sunday May 6.

Welcome to the Bellydancing Blog!

Today was the last session for ESA 1.

We had a wonderful group this session and I like to thank all of you to be a part of this amazing group.

Next week is Mother Tongue Week and our first performance is coming up next Friday 9 December

during morning assembly. We have been practicing hard including lunch recess

We all look forward to our first show in public.

Welcome to the Bellydancing Club blog!

Next Friday it is Bridging The Gap, so no school for students.

This means we have only two more sessions left to practice before the performance.

I will let you know which day we will perform during the Mother Tongue Week  as soon as I can.

We will do the rehearsal on Dec 2.

Welcome  to Bellydancing Club blog.

I finally received the costumes on Thursday.

The timing was just right because we knew we needed to practice dancing with the costumes on.

We have 3 more sessions left.

The choreography is all done. All we need is to practice, practice and PRACTICE!

• the movement that needs to be enhanced: Steps with Butterfly Arm
• the formations that needs to be reviewed: the last formation (either V-Shape or horizontal)
