A snowy day!
There was a excited buzz in the air this morning as the children arrived in school. Snow was falling down in fat, wet flakes and was settling in the playground (a rare occurrence).
“This is the best day ever!” cried Trenton.
“This day is so cool!” commented Maya
The other children agreed so after Art we all went outside to play in the snow.
Before we went out we talked about how to dress for the wet, snowy weather. The children checked to make sure they had dry clothes to change into and we turned up the heating in the classroom so that it would be nice and warm when we came back in.
