Japanese Cooking at the ICJC

Last week, we had our first ICJC experience in 2c to kick off Unit 1, Where We Are In Place and Time. Our central idea is People can be enriched by their own cultures and the cultures they connect with throughout their lives. Food is a big part of all cultures around the world, and it was great to see what it was like to make Japanese inarizushi and miso soup. During the cooking activity, we made connections to our own cultures and shared our opinions of the experience.
