  • Personal Project Survey

Hello. My name is Sayo and for my Personal Project, I am collecting data about food allergies. It would be really helpful if you can take a few minutes to fill out this survey, especially for those who have a food allergy. You will need to log in to your YIS account to take the survey, but the survey will NOT keep track of your username, so you are anonymous.

Thank you, (Sayo Grade 10)

  • Special Thanks to Grade 6, 7, 9 and 11 for their donations

Last year I organized a donation drive to collect school supplies and everyday items from YIS students and brought them to Vietnam where they were shared with cancer and heart patients. It was a success and the children were very happy to receive these items and felt very loved! Special thanks to grade 6, 7, 9 and 11 (especially to grade 6 for their donations). I really really appreciate it and without the help of these grades, Ms Urquhart and Mr Saez, I couldn’t have made this happen.

This year for my personal project I am thinking of creating an online shop where students can donate old items that they do not use anymore and also buy items for a cheaper price than in the shops! Please keep an eye out for announcements about my project later on in the year! (An Dang)

  • Society’s Impact On Teenagers Fashion Survey

For personal project, I’m researching about
society’s impact on teenagers self expression through fashion. This is
an anonymous survey so it would mean a lot you could fill it out.

  • Special Olympics at YIS

Each year for the past few, a group from the Kanagawa Special Olympics Unified Sports (basketball) group trains at the YIS gym as part of their season. If you would like to help this year, we’ll be holding a meeting October 4th, Wednesday during morning recess. Please come to M202! Also check your email for more details.

If you have questions just come and see me at the meeting! (Mrs. Clark and Mr. Hauet)
