MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL

  •  Veggie Drive

Good morning dragons!
We are from the Chiku Center advocacy group and just want to let you know that we will be running a veggie drive from February 12th to February 16th. This time of year it is very challenging for people living at or below the poverty line in Yokohama to remain healthy. Your donations of fresh vegetables can help fight off serious illness!

From Feb 12th-16th there will be green bins in the main lobby (foyer) and you can carefully place your veggie donations there. The Chiku Center particularly needs nice and fresh veggies that won’t rot quickly. We will come to your classrooms between February 5th and 6th to share more information.

Thank you! (Chiku Advocacy Group)

MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLY

  • Reading Sessions

7P, I’ll see you period 8 today in the library! Bring your book with you if you’ve got a good one. (Ms. Katy)

  • MS Lunch

Finish your marble runs today and Tuesdsy during lunch. Our marble run showcase will be next week Monday. (Ms. Katy)

  • MS Book of the Day

Dan G8 & Gwen G7 recommend this book about Magnus, who discovers his father is a Norse god. Funny & encaptivating, if you liked Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, Trials of Apollo, or Kane Chronicles, you’ll like this modern twist on mythology. #yislearning #msbookoftheday (Ms. Katy)
