MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL

  • Message from the Mental Emotional Health Club

Middle and High School – Today during morning break on the picnic tables in front of the basketball mural leading down to the cafeteria the Mental Emotional Health Club (MEHC) invites you to join your friends who are leaving YIS to decorate a smooth river stone. Each person leaving will receive a stone and then you can decorate it together as a permanent memory of your time together. It will be placed in the planter on the right hand side of that part of school as a start of this new tradition. Thank you for helping us get started this year! (MEHC)

  • YIS Magazine

Happy last week of school everybody!

On behalf of the YIS magazine, I urge you to pick up a copy of our mental and emotional health edition. A group of three of us have worked hard to make sure the wheels were turning, and we are thrilled to represent a new service group.

We have eight expansive pieces in both visual and literary arts, an activities section, book reviews, and a resource page.

Pick up a copy in the foyer, cafeteria during lunch, or an English classroom
We look forward to it! (Audrey, Head editor of the YIS magazine)
