Here are the instructions and details for this task – it’s a fun one!
You have to work both in PAIRS and in GROUPS.
You need to remember that there are 2 teams – and you are an important part of that team!
The research is given to you – you need to synthesize it.
Here are the TSCs.
You will have the following FOUR double classes to do your work:
Thursday Feb 22, Monday Feb 26, Wednesday Feb 28, and Monday March 5th.
MAKE A PLAN.
The Trial STARTS Thursday March 8th, and finishes on Monday March 12th.
We will do wrap-up unit reflections on Wednesday March 14th.
Today you will start to work on your Water Website.
You will start with RESEARCH on your randomly assigned topic.
Here is all the information you need –
Timeline for 6E and 6H:
Wed Feb 14: Intro, start research, come VERY close to completing the research document.
Feb 20/21: Setting up your GoogleSite, complete research document; Add your link to your site to THIS document
Feb 22/23: Create your website
Feb 26: Second to last class to create.
Due: February 28th: at the end of class, your site must be complete.

Hi Grade 6!
ENGLISH: So today you would have all (6E and 6M) had English with me – what I would ask is that you all read for at least 30 minutes from your Roald Dahl books.
If you have not finished your 2nd book – you must by the end of this week. So please use your time today wisely!
If you have finished your book and do not have another one – feel free to read any other book for at least 30 minutes today!
I&S: (6E) we should be looking at the case study of plastic in the ocean.
Please remember that this case study is looking at the OCEANS – you will be looking at FRESH water pollution.
Have a watch of these short videos and think about how we balance things – can we ban all plastic globally? Does that make sense? Is it possible? Or do we need a way to balance using, disposing and reusing? Is there any fact or idea that grabs your attention and makes you want to learn more? Yes? Then go for it! You guys are amazing inquirers!
