Along with portfolios, written reports and parent sharing sessions, Student Led Conferences (SLCs) are an important part of the process of reporting on student learning. Together the students and teachers discussed how best to share learning across the curriculum at the upcoming SLCs. Together, students and teachers brainstormed a list of learning experiences that would share how and what students are learning that represent learning across the curriculum. It was wonderful to see many parents in attendance at school on March 20, and being a public holiday, both Mums and Dads could join in!  The children were were proud and pleased to share their learning with parents throughout this special day.

Here a snapshot of how SLCs looked across the elementary classes….
