I thought Mr. Levitt”s visit was very amusing. He was very good at telling these stories. I enjoyed all of his stories. I like how he uses suspence and can turn an incredibly small event into a very wide story.

We thought that the stories were
:Really funny, creative and fun to listen too.
Me and Ayaka really enjoyed how you put emotions and feeling into them!
You are the greatest story-teller ever
.
Emily and me (Ayaka) learned that a story isn’t as fun when you don’t put feeling and emotion in it!
You gave us great advice through your stories!
Thank you,Mr.Levitt!
Sincerly,

1. What did you like about the stories that Marc told?
I liked how Marc told his storis by exprshing his felings and how he mad people laght. my favort story is the amusment park i thought it was the best because it was the one that mad me see how much things change.
2. What have you learnt about the skill of telling and writing good stories?
You have to expres your felings with words and make people see it like it would be for them like a pickter in you head and that is all so why i like his storyis he mad me see it like i think it would looked like.
1. What did you like about the stories that Marc told?
I don’t know why, but they made me feel like I was really there, experiencing it all. And they are really deep. Its amazing how much stories you can make with one memory or thing. He also did not just rattle on about what happened, but rather he put his feelings and emotions into the story, making it really interesting and deep. he also used lots of small gags (if you call small funny jokes and expressions gags) and by doing that, he made the story a little funny too. i have a feeling that he will never run out of stories to tell. he can make huge stories from one thing.
2. What have you learnt about the skill of telling and writing good stories?
You need to put lots of feeling, expressions, and tell it with many voices. Also, you can put emotions in it to make it really deep story.
1. What did you like about the stories that Marc told?
Mr. Levitt’s stories were fascinating. The expression he had when he said it and the voice describing the characters. If someone tried to tell the same story to someone else it would be very hard. I guess this is because the stories Mr. Levitt told us came naturally. I especially enjoyed the story about “The Milk Carton Olympics.”
2. What have you learnt about the skill of telling and writing good stories?
It is is an amazing fact I never thought about. I never even thought that something as small as a candy rapper can become a story. The way Mr. Levitt told us the story made me feel interested. It makes me feel like I am in the story myself.
Thank you Mr. Levitt for the wonderful stories you have told us. I think you have given many students hope for story telling.
Sincerely,
Adina (6B)

1. What did you like about the stories that Marc told?
I liked his stores because his stores are very good and funny and i liked his Amusement park because he talks a lot about his memory and how he relates his memory twice.
2. What have you learnt about the skill of telling and writing good stories?
I have learnt that you first have to split the story in to different parts and then at the and it all needs to come together and how if always ends very funny and then i think that all together makes a good store.
1. What did you like about the stories that Marc told?
A. I liked the part like he expressed his feelings and showing his emotion and it was pretty interesting that how can Mr.Marc could make this wonderful story. The story was unbelievably cool and the story heard like realistic and amazing. In my guess he could not stop writing stories in his life or his future because as you said that you like to talk.
2. What have you learnt about the skill of telling and writing good stories?

If you had time to tell the story to us , can you come again…..
To Mr.Marc
We liked the memory story when you went to the amusement park. We liked how you came to the amusement park in different time periods. We noticed how the stories you told all had to do with something. We have learned how things change allot over time.
Thanks for visiting YIS Mr. Marc !!

Hello or maybe こんにちは because it is Japan. My name is Kento Orii and I am 11 years old. I appreciate you coming to our school and sharing stories with us when you have lots of things to do in your schedule.
1. What did you like about the the stories the Marc told?
I like the story when you had an Olympic give in the cafeteria. It was funny and kind of dramatic which I think you made realistic. I think if somebody had told that story it would have been boring.
2. What have you learned about the skill of telling and writing good stories.
I thought that the way the person says the story and how they put their expressions will change the whole impression of the story. Also I learned that you have to make the listener into a mood to take them into the storyt.
Once again Thank You very much for coming to our school.
I liked how Mr. Leviit used detail to make it funny and fun to listen to. And made them amusing and made me want to listen to and made me feel like I was actually there. I’ve learnt that you should use detail to make the stories interesting. I think the stories were really good and fun to listen to. I think that Mr. Leviit is a good story teller Thanks Mr. Leviit.

All his stories were very fun and exciting. Especially, the story that I liked was “The Milk Carton Olympics” because the boys competed each other to get a kiss from the girl they liked.
2. What have you learnt about the skill of telling and writing good stories?
I learnt that you can make a story from ordinary stuff into a fun and interesting story like “The Candy Wrapper”. Good stories give us imagination!
