Homework Policy

After Back To School night, all students will be assigned homework from their Japanese teachers on specific days of the week.  The content may include Kanji practice, making example sentences, Kumon doriru, Hiragana/Katakana practice, Logbooks, workbooks, reading books, demonstrating Japanese phrases and will vary depending on the student’s class.  The homework sent home in Japanese class is an extension of what was learned in class and it helps students use Japanese outside of the classroom (also, demonstrate their Japanese skill).

We expect students to put forth their best effort on their homework and all assignment should be turned in on time.  If there is a legitimate reason why a student is not able to finish the homework, please send a note to the teacher.   If a student turn in assignments constantly late, you will be notified.
