G5 Sasanishiki, Nov/ Dec Schedule

Bimonthly schedules

In November and December, we are going to learn:

-Identify parts of the body

-Express discomfort

-Ask for help

-Express feelings

-Identify vehicles

-Asking questions

-Identify places

-Locate places

-Review

In the class, we are learning Hiragana from September. Hiragana practice will be their homework every Friday.

Homework

-Painless Japanese Hiragana/Katakana (one page)

-Painless Japanese Verb worksheets (5 sentences each week)

Students will take a Hiragana/Katakana quiz in a following Japanese lesson.

Others

In Japanese class, we are going to learn Japanese culture as well.

In December, we are going to study about Japanese new years including Oomisoka, Osechiryouri, Nengajyou, Otoshidame etc.  In the class, we will make a Nengajyou, New years card. 

All the students in Sasanishiki class have been memorizing Hiragana very hard. Please encourage your child to use Japanese and read Hiragana outside of the classroom.
