G5 students have had a session with our calligraphy teachers, Nakabayashi sensei, at ICJC today, as a part of UoI, Aesthetic expressions. They learned that Japanese calligraphy is the art of moment, and it is different from ‘shuji’, the handwriting practice.

1) Think about the questions to ask Ms. Nakabayashi (We might be able to ask the lady)

2) Write down more thoughts about why Japanese people do appreciate writing in beauty

3) Write down at least 5 facts what you learned from the quiz today

4) Some words you would like to write in calligraphy , which you think is beautiful.  (eg. sunset; Mt. Fuji, etc…)

2) Painless Japanese (#11-15): Make sentences with using てform / ました/ませんでした form

(For those who are not doing (2), read Japanese book instead for 20 minutes)
3) Quizlet : Painless Japanese Verb (Study #11-30)

4) Complete at least one day of your school day with using the check list.

*On Nov.24, we will have quizzes on writing days of the week with using kanji and the verbs #11-30 (20 verbs) on Quizlet.
