Festival Program

Saturday 19 May, 2018

10:00 am – 12:15 pm
Festival Screening
The 2018 entries will be screened, with priority going to films whose production team is in the audience. Enjoy fresh popcorn and refreshments as you watch!

12:15 pm – 1:15 pm
Lunch
It is possible to buy food at restaurants or conbini’s in the area, but it is likely to require a 15 minute walk each way, with a substantial uphill walk on the return.
We have made arrangements with Dragon Dining for participants to be able to pre-order a healthy and tasty lunch and pick it up at the venue (see order form below).
Pre-Orders for lunch will close on Thursday 17 May, 2018 at 4PM, in order to give our chefs time to prepare the meals.
Participants may also wish to bring their own lunch.
Some of the longer films in the festival may be screened in their entirety over the lunch break.

1:15 pm – 2:15 pm
Panel Discussion and Q&A
A selection of this year’s filmmakers and judges will discuss the challenges and triumphs of this year’s films.

2:15 pm – 3:00 pm
Presentation of Awards
A note about Festival etiquette. Please plan to stay for the whole morning, the whole afternoon, or the whole day, rather than leaving after a particular film has been screened. We aim to celebrate and learn from each other’s work and be a supportive audience for all of our filmmakers.

After you cross the street, walk left towards Harbour View Park and turn right at the traffic light near the public parking lots. Walk for about 50 meters to the main school entrance.
The Tanner Auditorium is about 300 meters further down the road on the left-hand side.

By Train (JR Negishi Line)
Exit Ishikawa-cho Station via the North Exit. Turn right and walk along the street until you reach Motomachi Shopping Street.
