Hour of Code 2015

malala-yousafzai-posterIt’s that time of year again! The Hour of Code is here!

This year, Ms Vance and I are setting up Hour of Code stations in the library for any middle or high school student interested in taking part. Drop into the library during lunch and learn more about coding! It could be your first program, or it could be your hundredth.

Every student who shows that they have completed one of the challenges or who signs into the library at least twice will receive an Hour of Code certificate! Take a look at the different challenges below and choose one that interests you:

For the “Super Advanced”

If these are too easy, take a look at Codecademy’s other offerings. You can learn things from how to make a website to how to deal with APIs. It’s a great resource for those who want to dive deep into computer science!
