CE,reading Non-Japanese Victims’ Perspectives-share your thoughts about what the Japanese government should do with respect to Korean Atomic Bomb Victims. Read both cartoons Barefoot Gen and Science Comics: The Exciting Story of the Atomic Bomb. Then write one paragraph comparing and contrasting the two comics.

Second half of class take one of the various textbook excerpts Topic: Atomic Bombing of Japanese Cities and make an educated guess as to what country the textbook might be from: Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, and the United States?  Pay attention to the terminology and language that they use, along with historical emphasis and interpretation.  Then write the excerpt you think should be in a textbook used at an international school. HW: finish your textbook excerpts on the Atomic Bombing of Japanese Cities, bring both paragraphs to class on Monday!
