CE, Activity One Period 6: Given your understanding of the assassination of PM Patrice Lumumba of the newly independent Congo in 1961, read the handout “The United Nations and the Congo” (on my desk) and write a similar timeline to the actions or steps that the UN took in the crisis as you did with the UN involvement in the Korean War. Activity Two Period 7: Answer the questions on your own for the sample Paper 1 Section A 8 a-c on IB Answer Sheet paper using blue or black pen. HW: Finish the question for homework if you didn’t have enough time in class, we will go over it with markschemes on Thursday.
