It is hard to believe how much the Grade 3 students have grown over the summer!
It is also wonderful to see the group 4 times a week. I am excited about the opportunities that we will have this year.
Grade 3 students have been working hard on their Fingerprint Poetry. A few weeks ago, I came across the idea of writing “I am” poems using their own personal fingerprint as a guide for lines. Dr. Demproski does a wonderful job explaining how to go about creating the poems on her blog post, so if you are interested in the process we took to create the poems, please visit her blog.
The students had a great time trying to see what kind of fingerprint they had. It was a process for all of us, as we didn’t have the right type of ink to get a clear picture of our fingerprints. After some trial and error, however, we did figure it out.
