Think of the different way we measure development. The graphs we made in class showed that many variables seem to have a correlation with a country’s level of development.

Before we go further with this, we will have to understand each variable a little better.

Each one of you will be given a statistical variable that can be said to have a correlation (direct or indirect) with a country’s level of development.

You will now have 5 minutes to write a 2  or 3 sentence definition of the variable. ,without ever mentioning it in your definition.
