  • YIS Beach Party and Clean Up

GIN and Ocean Ambassadors are planning a beach clean up and a picnic. Come and enjoy a fun day at the beach and lets leave it cleaner than what we found. We will go to the beautiful Mitohama beach at the Miura peninsula, between 2 and 5 this Sunday.
Come and join the meeting at recess in M208 (or see Mr. Mejía)

  • Special Visitor (Repeat)

During the last week of school we will have a special visitor, Robyn Treyvaud. She has a fun day of activities planned for all MS and HS students and tutors, organized in groups below:

Grade 6 – 8: Monday, 18 June

Grade 9 – 10: Tuesday,19 June

Grade 11: Wednesday, 20 June

In order to be prepared for Robyn’s sessions, you will need to complete this X-Generational Conversations activity. To complete this activity, you will need to interview someone who is at least 30 years old and record your answers. You may make a copy of this Google Doc and write down the responses (you can also audio or video record, or print and hand-write your notes if you prefer).

You must have your answers with you on the date listed for your grade level above.
