• Awards Ceremony Rehearsal

We will be rehearsing the performing groups in the gym before the awards ceremony.

Hey YIS, The RIJ Group just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came and bought food and drinks for the bake sales!
From the two bake sales we did, we have made 23,440Yen! The money made can support up to seven volunteers who would like to run 5KM for the Palace Run Event on Sunday! We could have not done it without the contribution of everyone! Thank you again! (Hiroki)

• Filmeisters Film Screening

Today in Periods 7 & 8, the Filmeisters are screening films they made during the after-school filmmaking activity this year, including “Diploma,” the zombie apocalypse film that won several awards at this year’s Kanto Plains Film Festival, including best film.

Hello YIS-

For the Student Council Assembly on Friday, we would love to have a slideshow of pictures of the past year. Please find the slideshow linked here and add a slide with a picture that is your favorite memory of this school year. It could be a service event, an assembly, hanging out with friends, a sporting event or anything that happened the past year at YIS. If we have enough photos, we will show the slideshow on Friday.

A few requests:
• The picture should be the whole slide (or close to it). Because it’s so big, it’s best if you don’t use a screenshot, but use a JPEG or PG file.
• I’ve put sections for each grade. Put the slide under the grade you are in.
• Everything should be school appropriate and the picture should not embarrass anyone.

• Friday Wind Ensemble Rehearsal for Grad

The Wind Ensemble will be playing the processional for the HS Graduation on Saturday. They will need to attend the graduation rehearsal on Friday (today). The students need to go to lunch early at 12:15 and then be ready in the gym for 1:00pm start of rehearsal. Students-Please bring your music and instruments with you to the gym.
