Good morning good folks of Y.I.S. As you may have heard on Thursday, the high school filmakers are looking for 13~19 year old able bodied boys and girls to play zombies in our upcoming film about post-apocalypse Y.I.S., called the “The Diploma”.
We need about 3-4 more people still who do not mind having zombie make up put on them and taking directions from Director Sekiya. The date we would need you is Sunday, March 17th, at the auditorium, from 9:00 to 16:00, and it would be much appreciated if you brought an old white t-shirt you don’t mind ripping up and getting bloody, although if you need one, please let us know and we will see if we can provide you with one.
If interested, please see or contact Jun Sekiya (Gr. 11) or Matthew Sato (Gr. 11). Thank you very much for your time, have a nice day. (Jun S)

MIDDLE SCHOOL ONLY
- A note from the Middle School Student Council President
1. The volleyballs in the playground:
Firstly, there were new volleyballs placed in the playground last Friday, and already, these have gone missing. They were red and white, and it is suspected that it had been kicked over the fence. This has been repeated over and over again, and should be stopped. Just another unhappy reminder that volleyballs are not meant for kicking nor is it meant to propel over the fence with tremendous power.
2. The dance:
Secondly, after the dance, we have found some ruins of the toys that were meant to be safely placed in the back for the ELC. We have found some ruined noodles and tambourines, which are not our property to touch. So please, don’t ruin these toys which are meant for ELC children ONLY.
3. Stolen money:
Thirdly, and finally, there was money stolen from the PE locker rooms, again. As kindly reminded by Mr. Snowball last Wednesday, valuables SHOULD BE placed in your locker in the main building or the safe during PE lessons. Also, as mentioned shortly in the previous point, you should not go rummaging through other people’s property unless you have the permission from this person that you are allowed to go rummage through his or her bag or locker.
Thank you. (Ms. Madrid)
