Well done Grade 6! We are officially finished with our Teachers of the Future project!

It’s so exciting to see how much you have all learned throughout this process. Watching all of your evaluations was a great way to see which parts of the unit were most valuable to you (most people said Investigate and Create), and to learn what your strengths and weaknesses were throughout the project. It’s great to see that so many people found the Design Cycle helpful for keeping you organized. Quite a few people mentioned that they were not as organized as they would have liked to be – but that they can see how the Tutorial Plan Template could help if they actually followed the deadlines they set. Overall, you worked extremely well and produced some amazing tutorials!

Here are a few video evaluations that answered the questions in a unique or interesting way. Some are straight video with really thoughtful and detailed comments presented in a well organized way, others use screen-casting, still images, slides and picture-in-picture to really highlight the important points they’re making as they talk. There are some great techniques here that you might be able to use in the future, so have a watch – and please leave them some comments!

Remember, if your video isn’t included, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t great! These are just a few that really jumped out at me as being especially creative, thoughtful and/or well-organized. Great job grade 6!
