This week the Grade 4 students enjoyed the fruits (or vegetables) of their labor by cooking Miso soup using the vegetables they grew in their school garden. Miso soup (Misoshiru) is a popular Japanese soup using fermented soybean paste.
The children demonstrated fantastic cooperation skills during the activity. Here’s a presentation with feedback from each student on what they did, and how they felt about the entire cooking experience.
