Some of the children have decided they want to sell obento boxes with the high school students at the food fair. This is a follow up from the visit we received from Mr. Migdley (a YIS high school teacher who supports the shelter with a group of high school students).

The food boxes are made at the homeless shelter in Kannai and sold each day to business people in the area. The children have decided half the money from the, ‘There is nothing to do on Mars’ audio book will go to help the homeless shelter, and half will go to earthquake relief.

Mai sent out an email to all the parents and  Ms. Zoe helped out with another message.
