The Sleep-over begins, play in the park.
Thank you to Ms Pender, Ms Catasti, Ms. Clair and Ms Sunita for helping supervise the time in the park. The children were actively engaged in their environment. We found it valuable to give the children this extended period of time to explore. After the initial running around the children became immersed in nature. Max and Kazumi spent 20 minutes watching a snail move around the well. Miel and Jessica found lots of weeds and made a perfume blend. You could only smell it if you had the password! Hwaji and Chae-Yoon looked for four leaf clover. There were lots of puddles to splash in.
All the exercise made the children hungry. The children moved to a new location because they felt it would be better for food. The biggest KP hit was… ham and jam sandwiches!
