Come and be a Senior! Playing Pranks with Grade Twelve. One school, One Spirit.

The Grade 12 students had their last day of school and wanted to do some fun pranks. They asked the grade one children if they wanted to go to their homeroom tutor period. Unbeknownst to their tutors they suddenly found most of grade one in their sessions. The grade 12’s were wonderful with the children, they were supportive: fun loving and caring. They all went of together. May the most striking point in the whole event was the trust and respect the children had for each other. The grade one students thought it was a very funny idea. They got right into the spirit of the day and wanted to ‘crash’ their leaving BBQ. As one of the grade 12 students said… “only 11 years to go.”

Thank you to Cari Barbour for the photo entitled “You do know your children have been kidnapped.”

  1. An act of fun by our YIS seniors yet full of thoughtfulness and trust in inviting GR1 students to experience the ‘BIG’ school.
