Earthquake Kit

Dear Parents,
Living in this earthquake prone zone, we ask all parents to prepare the following kit and send it to school promptly to be stored in the classroom. The following items should be stored in a A-4 plastic wallet with a strong zipper approximately 20 cm x 30 cm. Please make sure your child’s name is clearly indicated on this kit.
Please note:
Do not include perishable items. Food items such as crackers would be best in small plastic
container to avoid being crushed during storage.
Items to include could be:
postcard size label with personal information: name, grade, address, phone number, two out of country/prefecture contact names and phone numbers, plus information on medical conditions, allergies, medication taken on a regular basis.
1 or 2 family photos
2 dry snack items ( crackers, breakfast bars, mini cereal) and/or 1 container of long-life pudding and a spoon.
2 small cartons of drinks
1 small torch/flashlight, plus separate pack of batteries
1 small pad and pencil
Please be sure to LABEL ALL SUPPLIES clearly with your child/ren’s name.
Please bring this kit to school at latest by Friday September 1, 2012.
