Timetable workshop – St George’s School – Vancouver

Looking forward to attending a workshop at the end of August titled ‘Schedule the students? But what about me?’ ‘The 21st century school is student centered but does it necessarily support the delivery of the programs within the institution?  Topics to be covered:

1. The nature and definition of a schedule. 2. The importance of a schedule in the life of a school, 3. Identifying ways to lengthen the school day, 4. Creating additional space in your school, 5. Finding purpose and flexibility in your staff, 6. Program as the implementation of mission, 7. The scheduling process, 8. Practice putting a schedule together in ways that make you think outside the box 9. Change theory.

These are just some of the topics and the workshop should provide much food for thought for futuristic schedules, a diet that could revolutionize the structural way our students attend their classes.
