Find out which pet belongs to which Obento student by following the grid of the あみだくじpuzzle in worksheet 11, p65-66. Start with one of the students, for example Kenichi, Follow the vertical line down until you reach the first horizontal line. Follow this horizontal line until you reach the next vertical line. Now follow this vertical line until you reach the next horizontal line. Continue in this way until you find out which pet belongs to Kenichi. Continue in the same way to find out the name of the pet.
When you have worked out which pet belongs to which person and the pet’s name, you can complete the following sentences in Japanese.
Workbook 12 p67
Describe each picture by using the clues to fill in the blanks. Note that the last sentence describes the pet shown in the picture such as かわいい、うるさい、小さい、こわい

Write three wentences under each row of pictures to describe what you see. The first row has been done for you in the worksheet.

You are going out. Write a memo to someone in your house, telling what you are going to do with whom, when you will be back and whether you will have dinner at home. Use present tense for this memo.
Write about your weekend. Write the dates in kanji. Use at least 5-7 verbs in past tense (いきます、はなします、たべます、あります、かいます、おきます、みます、べんきょうします、よみます、ねます、ききます） Use appropriate kanji. Use particles correctly. You can omit the subject ( you don’t need to start your sentence with わたしは）

What did you do yesterday (or any other day you have done something )? Write a journal.
Use as many verbs (past tense) as possible, describe things, people, activities using adjectives (past tense), talk about the weather. Use kanji. You can omit subject as it is your journal.
B) おれいの手紙を書きます。Thank you letter
Write a thank-you letter to someone (use some useful expressions in p333 in the textbook accordingly.) Please use です、ますstyle. Write さまto the name of the person you’re writing to. Thank the person and describe whatever you did together or you have received. You say you are looking forward to do something together or seeing her/him in the near future.
