Unit 10 Useful Expressions At the Station 駅(えき)で p248-249

Learn the new vocabulary and expressions introduced in p248-249.
Make a brief dialogue between you and the station master using the vocabulary and expressions.

For example, you are going to Takayama by shinkansen and local train and you would like to buy a ticket. Person at the counter asks you if you want a reserved seat, nonsmoking car or round trip or one way. You tell him/her what you want. What train you need to change to and so on.
Then when you received your tickets you will be told the Car No. and the seat number.
Then you should ask where the platform is and if it’s front or back, and where the kiosk is.

Unit 5 Useful Expressions At the Post Office 郵便局(ゆうびんきょく)で p145

Learn the new vocabulary and expressions introduced in p145.
Make a brief dialogue between you and the person at the post office.
You want to send a parcel to your home country. Ask how long it takes and how much it costs, find out each for surface mail and airmail. Also ask about insurance. You also want to buy some stamps.
