Grade 11 Chemistry – Typhoon Day #2

We are supposed to have a test today.  I want to find out how people are coping with the Bonding topic so far.  PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM UNDER TEST CONDITIONS.

This means you can have a periodic table but don’t cheat and use your notes etc.  This is not a test that will count for your grade.  If everyone get 100% on this test, I’m going to assume there are no problems and move on.  This form is for me to find out if I need to re-teach anything so please be honest.

This is the link to the form.

Once you have completed the form, please continue with reviewing molecular polarity and the bonding of carbon and silicon.  Anybody having any problems with any of the material so far, please come and see me after school on Thursday.

Otherwise, I’ll see you after the break!

Grade 7 – Typhoon Day #2

Hello Grade 7!

It seems that it has been a long time since we have been in a room together.   I expect everyone to be working on science for the normal double period time!   Here are your instructions for your double period tomorrow.

Finished Experiment People
  1. You need to work on your write-up.  Remember that you can choose how to present it.  The instructions and TSC for the task can be found HERE.
  2. Put the link to your product and your name in the table found here.
  3. If you have done it “old school” (paper), bring it to my classroom by Friday lunch time.
  4. The due date for everyone is still Friday
  5. Use the internet and any other tools at your disposal to answer the questions on this sheet.
Not Finished Experiment People
  1. You many not have results for your salt mass.  You should have a result for the mass of iron.  Write up your results just for iron.
