Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental or brain based condition, whereby children or adults face difficulties with inattention, hyperactivity and/or impulsiveness. These problems have to occur at least six months persistently for a diagnosis to be made. More boys than girls are diagnosed and treatment varies from behaviour modification, to counselling and medication.
